About

“…it is the duty of the tenth man to disagree. No matter how improbable it may seem, the tenth man has to start digging on the assumption that the other nine are wrong.”

My name is Jonas, and I am a Ph.D. student in Economics at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance and the Munich Graduate School of Economics and hold a Master’s degree in Economics from Stockholm University. Here is where I analyse current topics that interest me in opinion pieces, write about my research in economic articles, and share links and thoughts that intrigue me. Professionally, my current focus is the Political Economy of Income and Wealth Distribution and Conflict. I am also invested in issues of financial economics and statistical analysis.
